Meggie Anne Cherilus is many words, a refreshing mixture of bubbly, transparent and full of life may be the very first impression. But under all of this easy going and bright energy is a hard working woman that gets it done by any means necessary to achieve her destiny as an Actress. Seeing her on the screen and in her element will definitely keep all your senses peeled and attention set solely on her with her witty facial expressions, authentic humor and dynamic acting skills that naturally demand the audience’s attention.
Her growing up included inspiration and obstacles that were uprooted from a Haitian household. She’s the only girl of a family of 4 boys from the warm and cultured city of Miami,FL. It was no question that from a young age Meggie was interested In the arts, being on stage and entertaining others; her Father who was ½ of a popular band called PeeWee Disco growing up and her mother who also grew up in modeling noticed it in her early on and seasoned it to the best of their ability exposing her to being in front of the camera while young, creating skits and music videos with peers, and being a part of the grade school performances allowing her youthful talents to shine. The persistence landed her auditioning for Drama Magnet program at Miami Norland Middle School and getting in. After 3 years under the Teaching of Mrs. Tanisha Cidel she went on to audition for several performing arts high school and got accepted to the renowned New World School Of the Performing Arts.
Unfortunately, divorce and family life put the dream on a slight halt, while going into high school, stability and corporate job became the focus. But she would soon re-encounter her passion for drama again when attending her alumni college UCF studying Health Science, but still finding ways to dabble into drama and stage performances again. One of her most memorable acts on stage was entertaining, striking and quite comedic "My angry Vagina: Vagina's Monologue" -2013 UCF. This Skit even went on to be mentioned in the Central Florida Future newsletter after it received a standing ovation.
Meggie went on to execute more roles and acting skits in the south FL region after graduating. A few of them included "No Love Lost" from the popular Youtube channel 2kLife playing Daphne, the bubbly and charismatic supporting role as the main role's best friend 2016-2017 reaching well over 100 thousand views. Voice over's for Tobacco Free Florida allowing her to become SAG eligible. The vision ultimately involved Meggie to relocate and of course take her career to the next level so she applied for an acting scholarship in Los Angeles and got accepted into the intermediate acting class at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Naturally her ambition and skill would further her work and production in the fast paced dream making city of LA.
As of recently you can find Meggie dabbling with all spectrums of entertainment. She has recently wrote, starred, and produced her own web series which can be found on Youtube: MMM Spa; Home of Meggie's Magical Massage. This series is a comedic satire exploring the exaggerated truths behind massage therapy.
Meggie continues to land roles that are gained off of the tenacity and leaps of faith that she took to fulfill her dreams of becoming an Actress. She is well on her way to breaking the mold and showing the world her talent and skill, providing the entertainment and charisma our movies, shows, web series, and stages have been missing.
